Hollywood Expresses Their Ignorance (yet again)

Only Hollywood liberals could be this friggin idiotic and it's no surprise that this video is also a part of MoveOn.org's campaign of bull crap. Why are you even still around MoveOn?

Back to Hollywood liberals though. In what is their ordinary fashion they show, yet again, how little they know about how the nation around them operates. They clearly believe that Obama's "healthcare reform" is going to make America's healthcare system the best ever. What they don't understand is that our system already is and the socialization of healthcare could very well completely destroy the quality of hospital care in this country in the long run.

And the worst thing about this video is how they go on the tongue-in-cheek attack that MoveOn has been known for in the past. Nope, they didn't try to defend Obama's plans in this one. If they were confident in how successful Obama's healthcare reform would be then they'd have no problem defending it point by point. Instead, they come out with this pathetic video (which i clicked the "die" button on) preaching to the choir of mindless Democrats and leftists including the ignorant Hollywood lefties who starred in this video for a little pay on the side during the dwindling luck of their careers.

Actually, i don't even know who any of the actors and actresses are except for Linda Cardellini and Will Ferrell. With Linda, i thought between "Scooby Doo" and the horrid movie, "Grandma's Boy", where she played the basement dweller's wet dream, that her career had already been buried.

As for Will Ferrell, i won't even get started on him. How could anyone take a low-quality very slightly interesting show like, "Land of the Lost" and have his acting make it into a complete disaster of a movie without any redeemable qualities. Will Ferrell can!

Organizing for America's Plea for 'Power'

I'm sure many of you have already seen this but i just got this by email shortly after noon from the OFA/Mitch Stewart/BarackObama.com panhandling email titled, "Power".

I know, what an imaginative title!

Opponents of health insurance reform have power. Some reap huge profits from the status quo. Others take large campaign contributions from those who profit.

Way to "break it down" for the Obama sheep...i mean people.

The only (massive) problem with this view put forth by Organizing for America is that a majority of the people protesting against this government health care system Barack Obama looks to push through are NOT health insurance companies nor do they have any affiliation with them. Yet, on the other, hand let's question who is funding groups like Organizing for America to be for this health care "reform". Oh yeah, they're nothing but a front group for the DNC  to bypass political laws and restrictions. And their roots go back to their original name: Obama for America.

So they'll do anything to keep the current system in place. When fact-based arguments don't work, they attack President Obama with outlandish lies about a government takeover and euthanizing the elderly. And once that doesn't work, they'll go even further.

What's wrong with keeping a superior system in place to a dumbed down, watered down version of healthcare similar to systems in other countries which have proven nearly disasterous? What don't these people get? We're not talking about what's necessarily in the bill concerning a 'government takeover' (even though it is) and euthanization of the elderly'. We're talking about the paths the healthcare bill is opening which makes such a thing possible in the future when this healthcare "reform" starts to financially bleed the country and runs out of money to treat people. These aren't outlandish lies Organizing for America. These are real possibilities, over time, if the bill gets passed. This sort of dwindling socialized care has happened in other countries yet, somehow, you believe this country is immune to that? Especially when
we're trillions in debt in the first place!

We don't know what they'll do next. What we do know is that we'll have to be prepared for anything -- ready to set the record straight, ready to make sure the media and Congress see the overwhelming support for reform, and ready to pass real reform this year.

You can't "set the record straight" on something that is trash. No matter how much you try to decorate it up, this healthcare "reform" is still nothing but garbage. Sure, in the beginning (if passed), it may seem to be the greatest thing ever for this country. But, as time goes on and funds are consumed/disappear, the waste will be shoved on the American people in the form of lower quality healthcare. Meanwhile,
somehow and somewhere it'll be found that politicians'll be skimming money off the top of healthcare funds for themselves. In the end, combined with the untrustworthiness of politicians, this will end up being nothing more than a scam and ordinary Americans who entered into it will have a hard time getting out of it; if they will be able to at all.

But we'll need the resources to do it -- to pay for rapid-response ads
in key districts and states, organizers to put together large rallies and grassroots events throughout the country, and the best technology available to empower volunteers -- all at a moment's notice. Please chip in $5 or more to help us pass real reform, this year. This was never going to be easy. As candidate Obama said just three days before the election: "Don't think for a moment that power will
concede without a fight." Now, we're seeing how true that really is.

It is NOT grassroots to have large rallies put together by a group with near-direct ties to the White House. Maybe it is to some f**king Alinsky-ites and their witless "Dear Leader" supporters but, the reality is, most Americans will not just be silent as this goes on. The extremely vocal protests only have one way to go. And that is to expand. The best part of it is that we don't need $5 to grow in opposition. We just need you, OFA/DNC, to keep funding political follies. Mix that with the naturally bred soul of America to unite and question government, it's all we need. No, it's not going to be easy. In fact, it's not going to be successful for you at all.

These same well-financed forces have killed reform in the past, and they're aiming to do it again. But here's why this time can be different: There are folks like you, all around the country, who are ready to go toe-to-toe with the special interests, even when they're not fighting fair.

"These same well-financed forces have killed reform in the past"

Way to not sound politically non-invested there Organizing for America. But, outside Washington, there is a country full of people not being funded politically by healthcare companies. You truly don't have any idea how many people are against this bullshit reform, do you? Of course you do, to an extent, but like anything other politically tunnel-visioned group you only can see what's in your narrow view.

Going 'toe-to-toe' with special interests and using propaganda passed off as fact through fake grassroots will not hold back the discontent forever. Actually, the floodgates of protest against this healthcare reform farce are already nearing the condition of being unrepairable. The same goes for the vocal protests against the Obama administration in general.

Thanks,

Mitch

Organizing for America

Yeah, i'm sure America'll be thanking you all in the years to come if this bill is passed. The (a clear arrogant over-estimate) hundreds of millions you are claiming this will help aren't going to like their steep rise in the amount of taxes they have to pay for the dwindling quality of care they'll receive from this socialized system of healthcare "reform".

By the way, shout out to the anon who gave the me one star as the first rating for this post. I must've said something right. The least you could've done is left a comment on why you chose to rate this post one star :-)

Hawaiian Racism and Racism in America in General

Racism among native Hawaiians is much like it is in what they would call the "mainland." In some it's culturally bred into them as a sense of pride in their own culture and heritage. And somehow it's acceptable in the eyes of anti-racism because
the perpetrators of this racism in Hawaii and elsewhere in the United States is done by non-whites. I'm not going to go much into specifics concerning racism in Hawaii though since i've never experienced.

But i can talk about what i've experienced; the ways of white liberals concerning racism.

Sure, what we call liberals (and they're anything but) go out of their way to mock the backwards ways of racists in the south yet you'll never see them speak about what's going on in Hawaii. You'll never see them speak of racism widely present in our major cities. Because that's not politically correct! I'm not going to blame blacks, Hawaiians or any other non-white ethnicity for common overlooking of racist crimes against whites, no.

The ones to blame are, yes, white liberals. The mostly suburbanite and sheltered anti-racist types on one end or the "trying to please the PoC" on the other end. I can't feel any serious negative feelings towards them though. If anything, i feel sorry for the pathetic stances and weak character of white liberals. They're products of mostly easy lives. Many times they're just short of the silver spoon and tend to give white supremacists a run for their money in terms of racism. The
thing is that you know what to expect from a WN but white liberals are deceivers. More often then not they'll keep the racism for when they're around their fellow white libs.

I've kind of gone off subject but you probably get what i mean.

The Standings of Flyover Country

Summers, i used to be a flame burning and so lively in your days. I used to feel like the sun was smiling down on me; that was naive youth. But what about now? I look on the television. I don't want to be a puzzle piece crowded in this damned culture. Each and every day i see others wanting to distance themselves from it too. Only more publicly.

And they are ridiculed and nearly dehumanized for this on CNN. So i find myself tuning out the MSM more and more.

I don't want to be assimilated and integrated. Why do i need to strive for power, material and money amongst "society" to exist? Why can't i, and everyone else, just live? There is a difference between living and existing you know. And freedom, freedom for what? To do as the government and society tells us to do?

A crumbling society in it's downfall has no authority over the lives of life. One that was never mine because I'm not Hollywood. I'm middle "flyover" America. As is my soul. And millions of Americans identify with this too.

And what were our ways in the past of this America? The ones that died long before i was born in 1980. Seriously, what is our freedom? I've never been one to be the churchgoer (and I'm still not) but in the coming times, whatever they may be, complete faith is going to hold a lot of weight on how well we persevere. The central tenets are going to hold a lot of sway. Memorized Bible passages and perfect church attendance aren't going to help if your soul doesn't completely grasp the beliefs and concepts; involuntarily, naturally.

Supporters of Sonia Sotomayer Targeting Connecticut Firefighter

While there's no doubt that the left, the Democrats and their media are acting like they're protecting Sonia Sotomayer's image from what they label "racists". Even though the truth is far from that.

From mcclatchydc.com

Supporters of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor are quietly targeting the Connecticut firefighter who's at the center of Sotomayor's most controversial ruling.

On the eve of Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearing, her advocates have been urging journalists to scrutinize what one called the "troubled and litigious work history" of firefighter Frank Ricci.

This is opposition research: a constant shadow on Capitol Hill.

"The whole business of getting Supreme Court nominees through the process has become bloodsport," said Gary Rose, a government and politics professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

On Friday, citing in an e-mail "Frank Ricci's troubled and litigious work history," the liberal advocacy group People for the American Way drew reporters' attention to Ricci's past. Other advocates for Sotomayor have discreetly urged journalists to pursue similar story lines.

What's disturbing about this is that we have a media that has switched, in the last year, from questioning our government and our politicians to now questioning private individuals with no ties to government whatsoever. The Democrats and our state-run media fear the firefighter from Connecticut, Frank Ricci, about to testify against Sonia Sotomayer more than they do Republicans. It's nearly the same thing they did to Joe the Plumber. They demonize these people for just doing what any responsible American citizen should do. And that is to expose what those in our government are doing that they shouldn't be doing.

I see this as a sign that Democrats do not hold individual liberty and the right for someone to defend themselves from unjust actions by government as justified. Instead of going after the committer of the offense, Sonia Sotomayer, they're going after the victim(s). This isn't just about silencing a firefighter, no. This is a social war by Democrats and their media lackeys.

In a way it's a war against middle America. I just hope people keep waking up.
